Kirtan (Sanskrit: कीर्तन; IAST: Kīrtana) is a Sanskrit word that means "narrating, reciting, telling, describing" of an idea or story.

Wynne has been involved in yoga and music for more than a moment. He left the music industry in 1995 and began performing, recording and producing music for Krishna Das, the rockstar of kirtan. In addition to playing with Krishna Das, he has also performed and recorded with the likes of Rick Allen (Def Leppard), Mark Karan (Bob Weir/Ratdog), JT Thomas (Bruce Hornsby band) and Tony Levin/Jerry Marrota (Peter Gabriel). Since 1998, he has toured the country many times over and has played well over 2,000 kirtans, concerts, festivals and gatherings. Wynne is also a co founder of the Lovelight Yoga and Arts festival which is the area's largest yoga fest and is co founded by Michael Lang, the iconic producer of Woodstock.
